These are the Terms and Conditions, which apply to your purchase through our website www.meatsmokefire.co.uk. These Terms and Conditions form a legally binding contract between us and you. Your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is given when you place an order on our website. Please read these carefully before ordering.


Our policy is outlined in the Privacy Policy section of this website. Acceptance of these terms and conditions is also deemed confirmation that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy.


We will send you an email relating to your account, which will include order confirmations, renewal/expiration notices, despatch updates and credit card problem notifications. In addition we will give you the option to sign up to our regular email newsletters relating to new product releases or our latest offers. If you no longer wish to receive a newsletter, you can follow the ‘unsubscribe’ instructions located towards the bottom of each newsletter.

At checkout, ion you choose to enter your email for a discount, we will only use it to follow up on any order where you do not complete the checkout. You can opt out of this process at any point, or choose not to enter your email at the initial stage.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website following the posting of any changes to these Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Group Class Specific Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to cancel a class where there are 2 or fewer people booked. In this instance, participants will be given at least a week’s notice. They will be offered the chance to swap to another class, if available, or take a full refund.
  • Customers may swap to another class up to 3 weeks before the class is due to take place, subject to availability. We will charge you a £20 admin fee to change class dates.
  • Classes cancelled by the customer are subject to a £50 cancellation fee per person up to 3 weeks before the class is due to take place. After this time, full payment is non-refundable. We will do our best to find someone to take your place, in which case we will refund the remainder of your fee minus a £20 admin fee per person. Participants may send a substitute in their place to attend the course.
  • In the event that Meat Smoke Fire Ltd. has to cancel a course, we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible, and a future date will be offered. Alternatively, you will receive a full refund with no admin fee. Meat Smoke Fire Ltd will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred. 
  • Classes are only for participants aged 16 or older. Participants aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied by an adult participant for the class duration.
  • We cannot guarantee to tailor courses to special dietary requirements, although we will try. 
  • Participants are required to wear flat, closed-sole footwear for the class.
  • Classes will take place regardless of weather conditions. Please dress suitably.
  • Meat Smoke Fire Ltd. will not be responsible for, or have any liability to you for, accidental damage or injury resulting from the actions or omissions of anyone attending the course. 

Private Class Specific Terms and Conditions

  • These terms and conditions only apply to classes run by Nic. Classes run by Julie are done through her privately, not through Meat Smoke Fire Limited. You contract is with her directly.
  • We will take a non refundable booking fee to hold a particular date for a class. Should the client then wish to change the date of the class, we will try to accommodate this. Should agreement of another date not be reached, the fee is not refundable. 
  • The balance of the full class payment is due at the end of the class.
  • Classes cancelled by the customer over two week before the class, are subject to loss of the booking fee. Classes cancelled within 2 weeks of the agreed class date are subject to the full fee being paid, an invoice will be sent. 
  • In the unlikely event that Meat Smoke Fire Ltd. has to cancel a course, we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible and a future date will be offered. Alternatively you will be entitled to a full refund with no admin fee. Meat Smoke Fire Ltd will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred. 
  • Classes will take place regardless of weather conditions. Please dress suitably.
  • Meat Smoke Fire Ltd. will not be responsible for, or have any liability to you for, accidental damage or injury resulting from the actions or omissions of anyone attending the course.  

Shop Specific Terms and Conditions



Orders for goods may be placed online, by telephone or any other form of oral or written communication. However, no orders for goods submitted by you shall be deemed accepted by us unless we confirm in writing (‘confirmation’).

It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the terms of any order and to check that the confirmation is correct.

You undertake that all goods you order are for your own private and domestic use and are not for resale.


All prices indicated for products and services available at Rose and Rock are stated in £ sterling. These are exclusive of delivery charges. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products without notice at any time.

Promotion codes are not valid in conjunction with any other promotion, and only one promotion can be used per order. Terms are subject to change.

In the event of part of the order being returned, the value of the promotion code will be deemed to be spread between the goods proportionately. The sum in cash exceeding this value, less any delivery costs charged on the original order, will be returned to the customer.


We accept most major credit/debit cards. All credit and debit cards are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours.  Your payment card is only debited once an order has been confirmed and dispatched. We cannot be held responsible for price or goods information held on third-party websites or any other written material. The only prices that apply for Meat Smoke Fire products are those stated in our material. We cannot vouch for the reliability of prices stated in shopping directories or through any other third-party material.


We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct. However, specifications and descriptions of products on this website are not intended to be binding and are intended only to give a general description of the products. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear on our website. We cannot guarantee that your device’s display of any colour will be accurate, and therefore colours, shapes and sizes may vary slightly.


All orders are dispatched using Royal Mail or sent directly from the manufacturer, and we will deliver the goods in accordance with the delivery option selected by you during the order process. The delivery period stated within which you receive your order is approximate. You will be sent an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched.  Please refer to our Delivery Policy for details of charges.

We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that your order is delivered within a reasonable timescale. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that it will not be affected by unforeseen issues affecting our delivery partners. In these circumstances, delivery charges will not usually be refunded.

The legal title to the goods and the risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery.


We will happily refund the price of all goods (excluding: sale items, special orders or custom or tailor-made goods) within 14 days with proof of purchase.

After 14 days the goods can be exchanged for other goods of an equivalent value or for a credit note to be used at a later date.

We reserve the right to deduct a restocking charge and postage.

The cost of carriage in returning goods is not refundable.

Online & Mail Order Sales – In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 , you are allowed to return an item if you change your mind. You have the right to cancel at any time during the sales process from the moment you place your online order up to 14 days from the day you receive the goods. You then have 14 days to return the goods to obtain the refund.

Faulty Items – If the item is faulty, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to a full refund if the goods are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described. This right is limited to 30 days from the day you receive the goods. If the item is to be returned, we will arrange to collect the goods.

Please make sure you insure goods when you return them, as items can only be accepted back into stock if they arrive in a new condition. 


We inspect and double-check all orders before being dispatched to ensure you receive the correct items. However, if for some reason, the product you have received is not what you ordered or short, please contact nic@meatsmokefire.co.uk. immediately quoting your name, order number and details of the products. We will then advise on how to proceed.


You have the right to cancel your order or any item purchased online from Meat Smoke Fire, within 7 days of receipt and receive a refund for all charges except shipping.

All order cancellations must be made in writing, quoting your order reference number and we will not consider an order cancelled unless we have confirmed to you in writing that we have received your notice of cancellation. All items must be returned in the original packaging in the post at your own cost and are your responsibility until they reach us. A refund will only be issued once we have received the returned goods in satisfactory condition.
