Big Green Egg Cooking Classes

To get the most of your Big Green Egg then why not attend a Big Green Egg cooking class. We run these either either at your home or you can come to one of our group classes, either way they’re great fun and you will learn how to get so much more from your Egg, cooking in ways you probably hadn’t even thought of as well as covering all of the basics.

Individual classes

Why not treat yourself to a one on one Big Green Egg cooking class.

These can be tailored to your needs and run at your home using your Egg, ingredients from your favourite butchers, green grocers and fish mongers and there’s no need to travel.

I can bring additional smaller Egg’s so we can try out lots of different methods during the day.

Group Classes

I run a series of set classes at The Gog Farm Shop just outside of Cambridge. Take a look at their events page and see what’s on offer. These are normally for 20 people and are a demonstration.

In 2018 I will start running classes for smaller groups which will be much more hands on. These will take place just outside Cambridge in my outdoor kitchen.

The Best

We have had our Big Green Egg for 5 years and I seriously cannot believe it's taken us this long to book such an incredible session with Nic. It was the best day, so much fun and so much banter. Nic's energy and knowledge was absolutely amazing. If you own and enjoy cooking on a BGE you are genuinely selling yourself short by not arranging a group lesson with him, trust me. Cheers, Nic. Thanks too for the great apron and Thermapen too!!!

The class with Nic was excellent and proved to be a very enjoyable day. Pre-class preparation was clear so we had all the ingredients ready and wasted no time. The day was well thought through so we covered a wide range of cooking techniques and enjoyed a very tasty lunch. Instruction was very interactive and allowed flexibility in the demonstrations to answer specific questions as they arose. The outcome was a much better understanding of how to control the Egg and it's capabilities and how to exploit the full range of cooking techniques which would have taken many weeks/months to cover without the class. Above all, a fun day and I hope to have a repeat class in the future.

Big Green Egg Day

This was one of my 70th birthday presents and it was a great day in our garden. I learnt so much about cooking on my egg. Nic is a natural and so enthusiastic about cooking. We spent all afternoon cooking and eating mouth watering food. Nic makes it all fun.We have subsequently cooked our rib eyes direct on the coals as recommended by Nic. They are a whole new experience. This is the only way to cook steaks for me now.Thanks Nic for a great experience.
