When cooking on the OFYR cooking units, you’ll notice that the cooking plates run slightly downward towards the centre.ย As the plates heat up, the centre will drop a fraction more.ย Food, for example, tomatoes or fatty food can slide towards the centre of the cooking plate and may end up in the fire.
The OFYR Food Bumper 85 has been designed to stop this from happening.ย The raised steel rim stops the food and allows you to continue to scrape the cooking plate clean with the spatula and push any food remnants into the fire.
