    These Terms apply to the sale of goods and services through www.meatsmokefire.co.uk.

    Orders

    Goods

    Orders are only accepted once we send written confirmation.

    It is your responsibility to check your order details before submission.

    Services (Classes & Events)

    Bookings are confirmed upon written confirmation and receipt of any required deposit.

    Prices & Payment

    All prices are in GBP (£) and exclude delivery charges unless stated.

    Prices may change without notice, but this will not affect confirmed orders.

    We accept major debit and credit cards. Payment is authorised at order and charged on despatch (goods) or at booking (services).

    We are not responsible for pricing errors on third-party websites.

    Promotions

    Only one promotion code may be used per order unless otherwise stated.

    If part of an order is returned, discounts will be applied proportionately.

    Promotions may be withdrawn at any time.

    GOODS TERMS

    Delivery

    Delivery times are estimates only.

    Risk passes to you when goods are delivered to the address provided. Ownership passes once full payment has been received.

    We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

    Your Right to Cancel (Online Orders)

    Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:

      • You may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
      • You then have 14 further days to return the goods.

    To cancel, notify us in writing (email is sufficient).

    Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods.

    We will refund the cost of the goods and standard delivery charges (excluding premium delivery upgrades).

    You are responsible for return postage unless goods are faulty.

    We may reduce your refund if goods show signs of handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and function.

    The following cannot be returned unless faulty:

        • Custom or personalised goods
        • Perishable goods

    Faulty or Incorrect Goods

    Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

        • As described
        • Of satisfactory quality
        • Fit for purpose

    If goods are faulty within 30 days of receipt, you are entitled to a full refund. Please contact hello@meatsmokefire.co.uk with your order number and details.

    SERVICES TERMS (CLASSES)

    Group Classes

    We reserve the right to cancel classes where fewer than 3 participants are booked.

    Participants will receive at least 7 days’ notice where possible.

    You may swap to another class up to 3 weeks before the class date (subject to availability). An administration fee of £50 applies to date changes.

    Cancellations:

      • More than 3 weeks before the class: £50 cancellation fee per place.
      • Within 3 weeks: no refund unless we are able to fill your place, in which case we will charge you a £50 cancellation fee.
      • Substitutes are permitted.

    Participants must:

      • Be aged 16 or over.
      • Participants aged 16–17 must attend with a participating adult.
      • Wear flat, closed footwear.
      • Follow all safety instructions.

    Classes proceed in most weather conditions.

    Private Group Classes

    A non-refundable deposit of £500 is required to secure the date.

    The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before the class.

    Cancellations:

      • More than 6 weeks before: deposit retained.
      • Within 6 weeks: full fee payable.

    If we cancel, you will receive a full refund.

    Safety & Food

    You are responsible for informing us of any allergies prior to attending a class or event.

    We cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.

    Participants must follow all safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event without refund.

    Age-Restricted Products

    Where products include knives or bladed items, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over.

    We may require age verification prior to dispatch.

    GENERAL TERMS

    Liability

    Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

      • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
      • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
      • Any liability that cannot be excluded by law

    Subject to the above:

      • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the goods or services.
      • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
      • We are not responsible for injury resulting from misuse of products or failure to follow safety instructions.

    Business Customers

    If you purchase in the course of business:

      • Consumer protection legislation does not apply.
      • Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods or services supplied.

    Intellectual Property

    All content, images, branding and materials on this website are owned by or licensed to Meat Smoke Fire Limited.

    You may not reproduce or use any content without written permission.

    Privacy & Marketing

    We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    Transactional emails will be sent in relation to your orders.

    Marketing emails are optional and you may unsubscribe at any time.

    Force Majeure

    We are not liable for delay or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather, supplier failure or government restrictions.

    Complaints

    Please contact hello@meatsmokefire.co.uk with any concerns. We aim to resolve issues promptly and fairly.

    Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

    Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
