Simplicity
The island features a stainless steel work surface, giving you a hygienic work area on the right-hand side of your Big Green Egg or Kamado Joe.
Two high pressure laminate doors slide effortlessly, allowing you to hide away your accessories within the cabinet, with one space below your Egg and two spaces behind the right hand door. Its design allows you to use your Egg either with the doors open or closed, the airflow is sufficient for all cooks.
Stainless steel and plastic casters allow you to move your Big4Space island smoothly. The casters on the Big4Space 150 can be upgraded to bring the height of that unit to 91cm if you have both the 150 & 180 units.
Built to last
A full size cover is available for each unit covering your grill and the island.
All frame components are E-Coated (electrophoretic cathode metal coating), shelves and sides are hot-dipped galvanised and powder-coated to protect against heat, frost, corrosion, and any other weather influence. This is the process that stops modern cars froms rusting.
The worktop is made of carefully polished, acid-proof food grade stainless steel that is resistant to heat and is easy to clean and maintain.
Front panels are made of HPL (High pressure laminate) – extremely weather-resistant, easy to clean high-pressure laminate made in Austria. HPL panels are frost and heat resistant under constant temperature load -80 °C to 80 °C.
Designed in the UK, delivered and installed by us
Big4Space units were designed in the UK. We even had some input into their design as we work really closely with Big4Space (previously KamadoSpace).
Every unit will include free delivery and installation of your Egg (or other Kamado) within three hours of Cambridge. If you're further afield, we may charge a little extra to cover the travel costs and time.Â
