Non-stick, scratch-resistant, and dishwasher friendly, the Half Moon Perforated Grid stops smaller foods falling through the gaps and lets heat pass evenly from below. Suitable for chopped fresh vegetables, grilling gnocchi.
It can be used with or without the EGGspander system and paired with other half moon cooking surfaces, which increases the cooking area within your Egg and allows you to cook both direct and indirect simultaneously.
It is a potential surface for smoking as the holes allow smoke to permeate your food. This surface is easy to clean and can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
It’s not our favourite cooking surface and doesn’t make it on to our list of cooking surfaces in our recommended Big Green Egg setup.
