- Pinch of salt
- 1 tin Heinz Baked Beans
- 50 ml water (enough to loosen)
- Fresh chilli or Sriracha sauce, optional
- Salt and pepper to season, optional
Equipment
- A non stick pan – I use the amazing Tefal Ingenio stainless pans, or a cast iron skillet.
Method
- Preheat your Egg to 200°C and setup for a direct cook.
- Place your pan on the Egg to warm and add a little olive oil.
- Add the onions to the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now add the curry powder and cook for a further 2 minutes until the curry powder has cooked out.
- Add your tin of beans to the pan and give it a good zhuzh!
- You may need to add a bit of water to loosen the beans.
- Stir occasionally and cook until the onions have softened.
- Give the beans a taste, if you want to spice them up a bit, then add some fresh chilli or your favourite sriracha sauce. Taste again!
- Once cooked take the beans off the Egg and pile on a slice of buttered toast.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
